About Action Restorations:

Action Restorations and Maintenance has been restoring and improving homes since 1987. The owner, Kevin O’Connor, started to learn his trade at age 13 through the Teen Missions International program. Each summer this group of teenagers traveled to remote locations in the world to build infrastructure that would improve the quality of life of the citizens. In 3 years, Kevin traveled to Columbia, New Guinea, and Kenya, building a schoolhouse, a jungle landing strip, a hospital and a house for a missionary doctor.

A fellow Marine introduced Staff Sergeant O’Connor to cabinet making and a life long dream of improving and remodeling homes. He started building patio overhang covers and decks for clients while working in computer repairs for AT&T. In 1987, AT&T offered a special early retirement program enabling Mr. O’Connor to pursue his remodeling and carpentry interest full time. Action Restorations was started with a tool inventory of one saber saw from Junior High School days.

 

 

Through friends and referrals, his business grew and the tool inventory grew exponentially. Kevin became a master of his trade through hands-on experience and a “kitchen cabinet” of contractors and other tradesmen. His reputation for honesty, integrity and excellent work is well known throughout the Denver Metropolitan Area.
